2020 was definitely a challenging year for everyone. A lot of plans, events, trips were canceled because of the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. The world stopped and borders were closed. Despite the challenges that everyone had experienced, people all over the world are resilient in overcoming the new normal and are hopeful for the year 2021.
In Hong Kong, the government replaced a traditional fireworks display over Victoria Harbour with a live-streamed virtual display to welcome 2021.
